Situated at only 2 km from Collodi the famous Park of Pinocchio, and 14 km from Lucca the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini, a medieval town surounded by an old wall stone, it is an excellent location to visit the famous art towns of Tuscany: Florence, Pisa, Siena, Arezzo. The ski resort of Abetone is at only 60 km away and has an excellent snow from Dicember to March.You can enjoy also the famous termal baths of Montecatini at 16km and Bagni di Lucca at 28km, or the beaches of Viareggio at 35km and Forte di Marmi at 45km away.The nearest restaurant is at about 500 m in the village.
