A basic ingredient of this landsacape is also the legendary olive tree whose oil have accompanied the history of humanity through the centuries.

The importance of the oil “ Lucca” is confirmed by the  European  Community recognition of the note " Protected Geografical Idication – Denominazione di Origine Protetta” published on the “ Official Gazette of the European Community, 2004 october 22th”
This oil it was also famous through the world that the Concise Oxford Dictionary, defines it as “ Lucca oil: superior quality of olive oil” make it unique among the oils of the world.
